How do I activate my free SSL?

*** Please note this only applies to paid hosting accounts as opposed to the free student hosting ***

In order to activate your free SSL certificate, you will firstly need to login to your hosting control panel. Once logged in you can then scroll down to the 'Security' section and then click on the SSL/TLS option:

Once activated this will then apply the SSL to your hosting, this can take up to 30 minutes to be activated. You will have an option to force any visitors to your site to use SSL if preferred:

Please note your domain will need to be pointing to our new platform's nameservers in order to activate:

ns1.greenbackend.com
ns2.greenbackend.com
ns3.greenbackend.com
ns4.greenbackend.com
